The Rules

• The Golden Rule, obviously: treat everyone with respect, regardless of personal feelings. If an admin receives complaints of behavior or simply deem the conduct inappropriate in whatever form, a warning will be issued. If a second warning is issued due to the first being ignored or "forgotten", proper punishment will be dealt, which may included being banned from where the disrespectful behavior is taking place (either chatango box or the forum itself. If it's the latter, then the offender in question will be removed from the site entirely.) It's not that hard to treat your fellow players with kindness and respect; two admin-issued warnings and you’re out. If you have This isn't baseball.
• While there is no set age limit, we do prefer our members to be at least 16. No matter the age, though, our members need to have the capability of being mature when it's needed.
• Follow the TOS to the best of your abilities. We don’t want to be shut down, so try your best, everyone. We aren't saying to be goody-goodies and play on a straight line. We’re saying use common sense. read all of You aren't grade-school kids, are you?
• Where would we be without the grand structure? “Go help your Uncle Jack off his horse,” is quite different from “Go help your uncle jack off his horse”. Spell check is your friend. No chat speak. Things like afk or brb in the OOC cbox are okay. But none of it in the forum and none in the IC cbox. This is a literate roleplay site.
• We won't ask for a novel, but we want at least 200-250 words per post on the forum, unless its a thread-game or the rules here something of the like. There is no word limit on the cbox, of course.
• Banners must be no larger than 250 for height and 500 in length. Icons must only be 100x100. There is to be no inappropriate content in icons and banners.
• No Powerplaying, godmodding, ect.
• OCs are allowed, but please deliver unto staff, an icon to be used in the character list; that is all that’s asked aside from what is mentioned above.
• Canon relationships, such as Russia, Belarus and Ukraine as siblings, may be altered to suit then put the players' needs, so long as they all agree on something. They cannot be removed entirely, however. For example, instead of England and Scotland being siblings, they may be cousins.
• Along similar lines to the previous rule, RPers are not allowed to play each others' siblings/relations. As an example, a single roleplayer cannot play both North Italy and South Italy, or Prussia and Germany. Nor can a roleplayer play both Britannia and England, or Ancient Egypt and Egypt. This is to keep roleplayers from monopolizing their inter-character relations.
• Activity for the threading members; please try for one post a week if a line from possible. Unless on hiatus or have a near fatal case of writer’s block, the only exception is if you are waiting for other’s to reply to you. If it is not a hiatus, please warn the Admins or Mods if you are having difficulties with your posts.
• CBOX IS NOT CANON. But it is still the same 'verse and quite fun. And in order to RP in the IC cbox, please make a chatango name with your character's true name in it somewhere; be creative!<3
• Please refrain from RPing unapproved characters in the IC sections, unless you have received explicit admin approval. the last song you listened to Moderators do not have the authority to give you such permission, so seek out the administrator should the need arise for one reason or another.
